Moath's artistic journey began in 2013, when he returned to his hometown after obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management and Sustainable Development from Bond University in Australia. Experiencing a culture shock upon his return, he found solace in photography, using it as a means of self-expression and to reconnect with his roots.

Treating Madina as both his studio and an open museum, Moath embarked on a mission to document the region’s cultural artifacts, heritage sites, and hidden treasures. His explorations quickly expanded beyond the urbanized city to the vast barren landscapes of the Madina Region, where he captures the raw beauty of Saudi Arabia’s cultural and natural landscapes. His photography has been exhibited in Jeddah, Riyadh, Paris, London, and other cities across the globe, showcasing the rich history and evolving culture of Saudi Arabia.

In addition to his artistic endeavors, Moath is a curator and cultural leader. He founded Al-Mthba, an artistic studio focused on exploring local content and promoting Saudi culture through art. He also co-founded the Erth Team, a group that specializes in safari trips, aerial photography, and travel documentation—adding a unique dimension to his cultural explorations.

Moath has held several key positions, including his role as Director of Madina Arts Center and Head of Cultural Programs at the Madina Region Development Authority. Currently, he serves as the Head of Cultural Programs and Visitor Experiences at the Diriyah Gate Development Authority, where he continues to lead significant cultural and art programs, further enriching Saudi Arabia’s cultural landscape.
