Omar Aljeraisy, a transformative leader, blends business acumen and cultural influence to drive Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, empowering the next generation and fostering national pride.

Omar Aljeraisy’s remarkable journey as a business leader, investor, and cultural ambassador embodies the spirit of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. A dynamic figure with a diverse portfolio, Aljeraisy has made significant contributions in fields spanning education, media, finance, and social development. His innovative leadership and commitment to nurturing Saudi talent have established him as a driving force behind the Kingdom’s rapid growth and modernization.

Early Leadership in Saudi Education

Aljeraisy’s leadership journey began in the education sector. As Executive Chairman of Almanahij Schools from 2008 to 2011, he helped lead the institution through acquisition, restructuring, and operational renewal. His responsibilities extended well beyond boardroom oversight. He helped establish the schools’ governance structure, appointed qualified executives, and guided the team that moved the institution from financial losses to profitability during its first operating year under new leadership. The schools subsequently recorded growth in enrollment, revenue, and academic performance.

Aljeraisy also supported a broader transformation of the student experience. This included renewing school infrastructure, introducing quality-management systems, securing ISO certification, redesigning 40 elementary classrooms, and establishing sports facilities that included a gym, indoor courts, and a swimming pool. He also encouraged intellectual curiosity through educational forums that welcomed more than 12 speakers and around 500 guests annually. These initiatives reflected an early conviction that successful education should develop confidence, creativity, and ambition, not simply deliver a curriculum.

Leadership Across Saudi Business

His wider governance experience includes roles with Gathern, Saudi AZM, Thmanyah, Myrkott Animation Studio, AXA Cooperative Insurance Company, Rehab Najd, ADD Enterprise, Naba, and Hrakat Production. Collectively, these positions demonstrate an ability to move between established companies and emerging ventures while contributing strategic direction, governance, and commercial insight.

This cross-sector experience mirrors one of the defining characteristics of Vision 2030: progress is not confined to a single industry. It depends on the development of interconnected sectors, stronger institutions, entrepreneurial thinking, and leaders capable of translating strategy into execution.
