In his role at PIF, Saleem has been responsible for driving MENA investment planning and governance, leading a team of professionals to ensure the success of PIF’s strategic initiatives. Over the past four years, he has designed and implemented frameworks that streamline performance reviews for PIF's portfolio companies. His leadership has also fostered a strong corporate culture, as evidenced by the over 30 team-building initiatives he has spearheaded, empowering a network of more than 130 professionals.

Saleem’s commitment to youth empowerment is reflected in his role as the Saudi Head Delegate at the Y20 Summit, where he advocated for pro-youth policies and emphasized the importance of including Saudi youth voices in global policy discussions.

Experience Across Multiple Sectors

Before his time at PIF, Saleem worked with Arthur D. Little as a Senior Business Analyst, where he played a key role in assessing investment opportunities and developing strategic plans for various sectors. His work ranged from assessing the waste management sector in Saudi Arabia to advising on privatization governance for finance ministries across the region.

His background in civil engineering and team leadership also positions him as a well-rounded professional, having worked in engineering and management roles across both the public and private sectors.
